 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto (Ontario) to Joanna Noyes, an actor as well as Jan Steen who is a director and actor. Steen is of Dutch, Scottish and Irish descendance.



 



 Steen is also an advocate for animal rights and environmentalistin addition to her entertainment business. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki and the World Society for the Protection of Animals. She's a certified diver and is skilled at several circus arts, including stilt walking, and fire-twirling.
